Behind the Curtains (New Babylon)

Daxter lifted up the com as Jak was going along with the Horseman leader, Retane. Not too long after they were moved to HQ, Jak had gotten a sudden message from... New Babylon? A guy named Victor wolf..

Daxter looked over at Jak and nodded "Hey Jak, you gettin' this? We got some mail from some guy named Victor Wolfe...He's askin if we'd like to join him on a mission."

Jak flipped open the com and started to type to Victor's email. Once he finished replying, he looked up at Retane as he set him down on the ground.

Jak looked over at Retane and the other horsemen near him. "We got a call about a job from someone, We'll catch you later. I remember where the hideout is. We'll be back.

Torn finally got to the Headquarters and his new ally was teaching him what he needed to do in base and what is needed. He didn't know Jak and Daxter were leaving for a mission..

As Jak ran with Daxter on his shoulder, Daxter complained for a second "Hey Jak, what about that dune buggy we lost that our fearless leader Retane?"

Jak rather frowned and said "I'm sure we can just summon another one, Dax... Now come'n Dax, we need to head to the dunes...

He made sure to keep in close contact with the other horseman in case something DID go wrong.

The dunes were ruthless to those who had never visited them before, but Jak had been here awhile back. Jak and Daxter took a short refuge in the Wastelands over the time he was banished. But the time in the Omniverse was interesting, He had run into a lady named Lara Croft the last time he and Dax was in the dunes.

Jak had covered his mouth with his hankerchief and placed a regular one on Daxter's mouth so sand wouldn't get in his mouth either. Daxter pulled the goggles over his eyes and Jak did the same as Jak closed his eyes for a second and a smaller vehicle from Jak's world showed up. It wasn't much but it would do so far. Jak nodded at Daxter and Jak stepped on the pedal as he headed to New Kipper.

Sand, Thiefs and much more later, Jak and Daxter arrived at New Kipper as he parked the dune buggy. Daxter looked around and yelled "Hey VIC, you here?"!

Jak muttered and covered Dax's mouth "Not so loud, I'm not even sure if we can trust this group yet, let alone meet these people."
