Email From Christa, to Tennant's Family
(A few months later...)


Dear Martha Tennant,

A mission update.

It has been many months since upon your request, I had traveled into the Tangled Green to follow up on the status of your husband, as well as to check his progress on his current search to find Omni. We had mentioned when we met the specifics of our similar goals. Now I will tell you the truth and what I have found.

The last place Mr. Tennant had documented alive was the temple, it was in this location that I united with a group of suspicious individuals, each, coincidentally enough, who shared the same goal as he and I.

Upon further investigation, some mentioned being lead to this exact place by a mysterious apparition, and I have yet to discover if she had made contact with your husband. The apparition, known as "Ghost Girl" has been consistently described to me as a young girl, about the age of ten, who wears white and has tangled hair. Her origins are unknown, and when was given the chance to ask her directly who she was, she told me it didn't matter.

You can imagine my distaste for such things, however she did lead us to the temple, which had an underground tunnel system (now caved-in) and it lead us on a direct route to the far side of the verse. Over the course of a few months, we have fought many battles in search of Omni. My tracking skills have lead us to another end. I fear for what awaits us, and I can't say formally whether I will even live or die. But today, in this moment, I leave you my legacy, a copy of every lead that came up a dead-end.

I have a log below of the many truths we have uncovered in this verse, and the mysteries we have unraveled. Mrs. Tennant, do not follow your husband's footsteps. The severity of the dangers of this verse are unknowable, I can't begin to describe some of the horrors that a civilian like yourself should never live their lives even thinking about. Do not worry, love your children, keep them close to your heart and let them never leave your sight.

I told you once of my sister, Katia, she was so beautiful and kind, I can't speak enough words of how I miss her. My journey of seeking her has changed me, I told you of my time under the empire's sovereign. Never again will I relive such injustice and hell, if I come back alive, those scum are next on my list.

You are the closest thing I have to a mother, it is such a shame that secondaries are pulled into this world and cannot pull our own kin here as the chosen Primes are able to. Sometimes it even seems as though we are forbidden from those we love and have lost. I thank you Martha, for cheering me up with your soft actions and kind words.

I have spoken of you meeting Katia, and should all prove to be a success, I may live to see her smile once more. You too, would love her. I hope you get to meet her someday, for I wish she had been blessed with a mother as loving as you. Someday you may meet her, if not here, then in heaven.
