As the group was walking along the litter-filled, body-covered paths, Axorn's mind was going a million miles an hour. What was that dream all about last night? Was it a vision? How are we going to get out of here? Is the darkling in the omniverse? Is it influencing me since I don't have my holy fire right now? he thought, pondering all of these before thinking... Wait a minute... is Erik listening in to all this? Axorn snapped back to reality at this moment and found the group walking down an alleyway covered with discarded crates, filthy grime, and dozens of dead bodies. Axorn couldn't sense the overpowering stench of the factories and rotting corpses anymore, no matter how hard he tried. I guess my body has just grown used to it. he thought. They walked along, hearing nothing but the sounds of crazed, maniacal laughter in the distance, and the occasional squelch of someone squashing a corpse. They had just gotten to the end of the alley when Axorn noticed something shining in one of the boxes.
"Guys!" he exclaimed. "Come check this out!"
Axorn whipped around and approached the crate, not caring whether or not he stepped on any dead bodies. Inside, were three, untouched, boxed, low quality Mobile Dataverse Devices. Axorn pulled one out and read the box out loud.
"Mobile Dataverse Device," he began. "allows you to read and upload to the Dataverse. Hmm... looks like this world's version of the internet."
Axorn pulled his out of the box and slipped it away in a pocket. "That might come in handy later. So, where exactly are we headed?"

"If you truly want to save the world, you'll need to withstand it's flames."
