'Traitor', the name bestowed upon him by the cynical warrior that stood beside the entity known as Harbringer, took root within his mind. How could one accuse him of treason when he follows one's own beliefs and stand by what is right. The delusional talk about his god, his view of the Omniverse, need for violence, all signs of a dangerous heretic who follows the ideals of a Deathgod. Another dangerous soul that is in need of salvation, and salvation is what Kanda will bestow upon them both.
The sound of metal clashing upon the Nexus floor snapped Kanda's attention back to the present, back to the battle raging within the Nexus. Gazing upon the weapon he quickly connected the dots, two bodies, a skull showing a sinister yet satisfied grin and tears flowing from the red-haired beauty. Death's presence on the field of battle was undeniable , for the young warrior it was another call to arms.
The exorcist dragged his hurting body up, a sense of despair took over while doing so. There were several primes that took up arms besides him, but was it enough? His attention was drawn towards the mysterious katana that found its way to the swordsman. There was something about this weapon, even without touching it Kanda could feel the power that surged within. He concentrated for a few seconds in order to summon a sheathe for the weapon, the others seemed to preoccupied celebrating the destruction of their targets, the so called criminals for which they all gathered here to begin with. Yet, this fight has spiralled out of control. Evil reincarnated showed its hideous face and it was his duty to destroy it. Kanda sheathed his newly acquired weapon and knew where he had to start.
He turned his head to the newcomer, Strazio. Even though they never met before he needed him in the battle to come. From what he could tell, they were fighting on the same side, "I will create an opening, you know what to do." Kanda whispered softly as he walked passed. Strazio started to charge his attack up.
"YOU!" Kanda shouted towards the plague infested marine who looked amused when he got called out by the swordsman, "Oh? I thought your god had already reclaimed your soul. It seems I will have to assist." The marine's words were filled with both disgust and excitement, quickly he started to move towards his challenger.
Kanda stood proudly as he placed Mugen back into its sheathe, taking a single step towards the walking container of diseases, "Look in to your own soul and tell me that you are not proud to be a prime, that you have not endured or suffered, lost the things you cared about most. And yet, here you are, a survivor of the verses.
This is the Omniverse, Angel or devil, Prime or secondary, you live here. You did not chose this world, it chose you! You can either accept it and live your life with purpose or wander around wasting away.
An angel isn't something that lives above us, watches over us, keeping us safe. It's not a god or an idea. Angels live here in the world among us, with us. Always here but rarely recognized. Look into your soul and see yourself what you truly are. You're a disgrace of a Prime, and you will find salvation by an angel's touch before this battle ends."
Okor was in no mood to listen to any more preaching, "Then show me, show me these so called protectors, these, angels."
The divine warrior wasn't wasting any more words, from his shoulder blades two large energy angelic wings appeared. Spread widely the innocence wings shone brightly, enough for his foe to stand still for a moment and gaze upon the blue light being emitted by them. Strazio saw the opening and released his attack, with a scream of agony the excessive energy burned his arm as he sent a wicked bolt of raw magic straight for the marine.
With a strong stroke of his wings Kanda took towards the sky, avoiding Strazio's attack, his wrist showed the stigmata symbol from which blood started to emerge. The blood and innocence mixed together for the creation of the crystallized blood bow. High in the sky Kanda took aim and rained divine arrows of innocence upon both Okor and the Harbringer of death. With great precision the arrows soared towards their targets. The diseased marine had trouble keeping up with the rage filled warrior attacking him head-on and the air support he had from the exorcist. The angelic warrior took steady aim, with pinpoint precision he send an arrow towards the marine's eye, but before he could verify whether the projectile hit its target, he felt the presence of Harbringer behind him in the sky, "How naive." With a single blow the fused prime send the angel like warrior crashing down towards the ground like a shooting star, leaving a trail of energy to follow his path during the fall.
Face down on the nexus floor, Kanda could barely move his body, the accumulated damage rendered to him by the puppets of darkness had finally caught up with his human limits. No longer would the embodiment of his innocence be able to carry out its sworn duty as an exorcist. Behind him he heard footsteps coming in closer, "My, my, Mr.Kanda, it seems you are unable to continue your crusade against this entity of hell. Allow me to assist you with any inconvenience your body is currently providing you with."
Kanda felt how Smith kicked his body on to his back and groaned in pain. "Don't worry Mr.Kanda, you would've never been able to succeed. Allow me to give you purpose once more." The agent picked up the swordsman from the floor, holding up the seemingly lifeless body of the exorcist up with a single hand. Forcing his second hand into the young exorcist chest the Agent grinned, it was the start of the return of Smith. The agent was spreading his code through Kanda's Body.
Deep within his soul Yu felt the innocence fighting back and taking control, the unknown energy that was flowing through his body seemed to be suppressed by the divine energy within himself. Smith noticed something was wrong, that the flame of power the exorcist used to fight the Harbringer was not yet doused, instead, it was coming for him like a virus. Attempting to pull his hand out he noticed that the innocence held it in place. "Impossible!"Smith growled as he witnessed a large shadow over him. The blue angelic wings spread once more as they slowly engulfed both primes into a large ball of innocence . With a last scream from the agent combined with an explosion of fluorescent light it became silent within the Nexus.
The gathered primes turned their heads towards the source. No longer were there two separate primes. A single prime, black suit, black sunglasses, long blue hair, two Katana blades on his back and the crescent rose symbol upon his breast pocket was standing tall.
Agent Kanda looked at both his hands with disbelieve, "Interesting."
