The Nexus
Unknown
1st Sergeant Johnny Rico
Johnny had been walking for quite some time in this vast expanse, keeping as alert as one can while traversing unknown and vast areas with little to nothing in them, after a while he did notice some sort of large gateway off in the distance and decided to make a beeline for it since it seems to be the only damn thing around. "For Pete's sake, the hell is this place and what the heck is going on, I mean seriously... what the bloody fuck happened to planet P and all those scragging bugs!?" He mutters to himself while continuing to head for the strange gateway. He checks his rifle for the twentieth time since he set out, finding it, as always, in perfect working order and slings it back over his shoulder, keeping a relaxed but quick pace, looking around. "Wonder who the hell made this place, must be pretty advanced if they somehow got me from where I was to wherever this is." He mutters as he then finds himself standing about a hundred yards from the gate, wondering where it leads and what to do as he looks around for any signs of life or any clues as to what he should do next.
