I entered Coruscant, and was amazed by the sights. I slowed to a walk to admire the view. Skyscrapers dotted the skies. Flying cars traversed through the air. Everything seemed to be higher than technology even S.T.A.R Labs could provide. I kept looking around the city, pausing for a moment to soak it all in. I noted especially a large library and a central tower, the latter being taller than all other buildings. I walked forward, and noted only more skyscrapers.
This city doesn't seem half bad... I thought to myself. I sighted some parks, but walked past them. Things weren't very interesting on the "what's ACTUALLY happening" scale. The streets were pretty calm, compared to what Central City was like every week.
God, can something actually happen? I thought, continuing to look around for something to do. I noted two places, a pizza place and a bakery, next to each other. Shrugging it off, I then took a turn and started heading towards T2, unaware of the different tiers of Coruscant.
I reached the area, and shortly after, noticed a small patch with a few guards, guns at the ready, outside a bank. I heard an alarm that I couldn't hear from T1 of Coruscant.
"There must be a robbery." I said to myself. I then sped towards the bank. Darting past a few guards, I burst through the door, and came face-to-face with a robber. They turned to run. I dashed in front of them at super speed, and disguised my face with vibrations. My voice was also disguised. "Don't try to run from me. It's a lost cause." I said. I then performed some speed punches, and quickly knocked out the robber. I then dashed away, while the guards took the robber into custody.
I then stopped, back in front of the bakery and pizzeria, exhausted. "Man...I need to get something to eat..." I said. I walked into the pizzeria.
"Hello! What would you like?" the pizzeria owner said. He had a thick Italian accent, almost as thick as the deep-dish pizza crusts looked. He wore a red shirt, blue jeans, and a cooking apron. He, surprisingly, didn't have the stereotypical mustache or chef hat.
"I'll take a pepperoni pizza." I responded. Quickly, the pizzeria owner got to work. I took a seat at a table, and waited for the chef to complete the dish. I saw him placing the pepperoni on the dough with sauce and cheese. In the meantime, I thought about the world I left behind...Central City...The Reverse-Flash...The Reverse-Flash...
I was angered that I let the Man in Yellow get away. I calmed down quickly enough, but I hoped that the Reverse-Flash didn't hurt anyone while I was here, in the Omniverse. I then received my pizza, and stopped thinking about it nearly instantly. I started chowing down on the pizza happily.
"Compliments to the chef. How much will it be?" I said to the chef.
"20 Omnillium." the chef responded through the heavy, stereotypical accent. "Wait a minute...Are you a new Prime?"
"Yeah..." I said.
"It's on the house, then. You must not have been brought here by the flyers, were you?" the chef says.
"Why, you put out an ad about free pizza to new Primes?" I asked.
"No. An employee of mine did it while I was working with the pizzas." the chef says.
"Okay...Thanks." I said. I then got up, and left, now satisfied and ready to go fight more crime.
The streets were lined with shops. Most of T1 was mostly big skyscrapers, parks and tourist traps. T2 seemed to be more about general commerce. I passed by a ton of shops, from restaurants and cafes, to craft shops, to even a few bars. But, despite all them, nothing interesting was going on around there. I sighted a hotel, and decided to call it a night. A shadow was cast on Coruscant as I entered the hotel.
"One room, please." I told the hotel owner.
"Sure thing...Name?" the hotel owner asked.
"Call me...The Flash." I said.
"Okay." the hotel owner said. She put my name on a list of patrons, and gave me a key. "Room 201." the hotel owner told me. '201' was engraved on the bronze key, so I could guess that much.
"Thanks." I said. I then went up to the third floor, and entered room 201.
The room wasn't much; a bed, a cabinet, a dresser, and a large mold stain on the carpet. I had no idea what the stain was from, and I had no intent on finding out. I shrugged it off. "Well, looks like I'm off to bed..." I said. "Not much else I can do in here, anyway..." I then hopped onto the bed and quickly fell asleep.
