Sleep Paralysis August 20th: I awake to find myself unable to move, same start to every time I have sleep paralysis. I stare out my window, frozen in the same position I fell asleep in. I hear something in the distance, the ocean maybe? But I don't live by the beach. A man's voice. It's time, he says. We must take him. Douse him in flame, for it must be done. A flash image, barrels, possibly, one is leaking, a pair of wrinkled hands grap the barrel. Another flash, a eerie smile in the darkness. I slowly feel heat over my body. But then another voice, female, and worried. No, she says. He still has plenty of time. We can't do this, not now. I won't allow it. I can feel the heat come closer, warming my body. The man grumbles angrily. It's his time. He must go. It becomes hotter, it feels as if the flames are right beside my body, but I see nothing, my eyes forced to stare out the window, my mouth silent, my body useless. She retorts. I won't allow it! The heat is unbearable, I can almost feel the flames lick my body as it starts to burn. I then hear the woman speak to me.a coll wind passes over my body, and I can no longer feel the flames. You're free, hurry.

I then gasp for air as I bolt upright into a sitting position on my bed. I am full of sweat, my body warm as it what had happened was real. But at least it's over now. I look around my dark room one last time as my breathing stabilizes. That one was pretty intense. They rarely get that bad. I quickly change my clothes and refresh myself with water to cool my body down. I'm still tired, and soon find myselflying back on my bed facing the window. I stare out into the darkness, same as this began, and the silence stayed true as I sleep came over me, calming me from the events prior.
