The soldier to Grave's back was expertly and accurately laying waste to the foes surrounding the two. The Nephilim was grateful to have been stuck with an equally skilled fighter as himself. However, the sound of live gunshots were swiftly replaced with the sweet sound of plasma flying from a barrel. The soldier seemed to have more up his sleeve than met the eye.
After thinning the fray of green-skinned menaces in the immediate vicinity and trying to find the solider, Grave was soon called over by him and he turned to see the man pointing at the larger mass of Secondaries, before calling to a strange automaton Grave had not seen before. He flipped his weapons into their compressed position to allow for an easier run.
The robot also seemed to be quite the fighter, landing red laser after red laser. Of course, they didn't pierce like Grave's shots did, but tht was because they were only burning hot plasma. Grave'd weaponry were infused by the powers of angels and demons, giving them that extra kick, not to mention that the rounds were formed from the essence of the two afterlives.
Grave's attention was quickly turned to the large-scale tremor that was sent rushing through the reddened earth. He tripped slightly as he looked over to quite the incredible scene; a gigantic, green mass with a blazing back and a large and courageous pirate - undeniably Crow - hacking away at the beast and taking its life. Grave had a feeling the seafarer would be an important asset to the entire group.
Grave's movement towards the group was stalled by two little, green men wielding horrid daggers in their short, thin, gnarled fingers. Flicking out his gunblades, he looked over to the soldier and waved to him.
"Keep going!" he shouted over the viridian monsters, "I'll catch up soon!" He proceeded to swing Infernus around from his right, and the little guy ducked under, thus the blade lopped off its ally's nose. The latter howled in pain at the quickly cauterised stub, allowing Grave to deal with the first. He went to impale it with Caelum, which was soon parried by the stylized (however horribly) bone. They continued to trade strikes, mixing in stylish flourishes as they went.
In the blink of an eye, the other green man had stumbled in between the two duelists and Grave's left weapon found purchase in the monster's intestines, piercing through the other side. The creature was long gone after a few seconds, but it gave Grave another option; he could use the limp body as a meatshield... Or he could just fire from behind it. While Caelum was still sheathed in the green body, Grave pulled the trigger and a beam of light ripped through the second green man, piercing its heart.
Grave dislodged the angelic weapon from the dead body and he folded the gunblades once more running back over to the soldier and the robot. The silver-haired Nephilim hooked Infernus on his right hip and extended a hand to the soldier.
"The name's Grave. Nice to fight alongside you," he introduced himself, throwing an acknowledging glance to the skilled robot.
