Triest declined to sit down, instead raising his weapon and slowly moving it around as he surveyed the warehouse.
"Can't be too careful."
He didn't wander too far away to hear Axorn say something. Triest made a sound akin to someone sputtering milk halfway through a single swig.
"You're not serious are you? I know that they're jerks, but they're powerful jerks. How are three guys going to face an entire government's worth of soldiers!?"
He sighed, "Alright, alright, maybe you can recruit a few more allies, and maybe get a rebellion going, but I still think you're nuts. Of course, if there's already a faction opposed to this one, you could always just join them, but I haven't got a clue on where or who runs that, if it even exists."
Triest finally set himself down, focusing his Omnilium on making a few bandages and disinfectant. He sincerely hoped that if he made the bandages out of this... energy... that it would heal and restore his limbs if he left them on overnight. He wasn't used to playing hero, if that display could be even considered a heroic act. Defending some stupid artifact, and for what? To have the government chase after them? He still wasn't convinced that what they did was the correct choice, but not much point in regrets now.
"Once we get out of here, provided that they aren't still chasing us, I'm going to enter one of the other gates. Only way to find out what's on the other side. Heck, maybe you guys can even find a place to setup your headquarters for your insurrection."
Triest paused.
"I'm not really sure if I want a part in your crusade. It just seems like too much of a good way to make enemies."
