The Secondary Saga - Prologue, Introductions
#14
Ah. A newcomer approaches. Late to the party though she is, it is clear that she has little tolerance for...

Well, anything.

I remain at my post leaning against the trunk of a rather large tree, unmoving. Yet, my eyes carefully analyze this woman who clearly wishes to stop the quarreling between our little gathering of the minds (Or lack thereof.). Her outfit and posture is obviously very militant, though not of any army or country I have ever seen. Special Forces perhaps? Unlikely. She walks with an air of importance - A commander of some sort. A leader. While I certainly see the need for a voice of reason amongst this calamity and rabble, I am not so sure I wish it to be this one. I keep my words and thoughts to myself for now. Such a sharp tongue, this one.

But what's this? Another particularly interesting individual appears from the shadows, so to speak. This one, this one is different. To be truthful, I am not so sure what I make of this one. Wise, to be sure, but not necessarily from age. Perhaps there is more than meets the eye, as it would appear he is well aware of who our young, trigger happy lass here is. Christa. Isaac. I believe they know more than perhaps they are letting on. He attempts to make light of this potentially dangerous predicament, it seems that he too reached the conclusion that this woman is a general of some sort. A wise specim-

Person. A wise person indeed. Perhaps I should vocalize my thoughts on this matter.

"You know exactly why this woman is here, Herr Isaac. In fact, I may go as far as to assume you know why we are all here."

I left much unspoken. It should be evident of what I am saying, what I am quite suspicious of without unnecessarily wasting my breath on pointless words. My eyes seek his. There is so much you can learn from a man's eyes, so much. But, you give as much as you take.
