Yeah, sorry, been a little … out of it. Apparently you sent this email weeks ago. I should know better than to idle in the Nexus.

You know I’m not much for words. But if you need any help you can call me. I think maybe if not for you guys I would have really lost my mind in the competition. I did a stupid thing on the way out. I tried to banish Karl Jak. Of course it didn’t work, being his own verse and all … but I’m still glad I tried. That scumbag is a piece of work, I don’t care how he puts it or what he says — he’s the cause of all that suffering we faced. And I WILL keep working to make sure people like him are put in their place.

Actually, I should probably mention this. I spoke to my friend Adam, I’ve been working on founding an organisation for some time now. Basically the point is to have a network of like-minded people who can help each other and help others. I know it’s not a stretch to say you’re a good person. I really think you would be a good fit for it. I even named it MESH, because it’s like a network of sorts. I mean, we’re both already in trouble with the Empire, so why not piss them off more, right?

I’ll probably get in touch with Erza and Harry too. Look after yourself, Mick.
