How about if every attack resulted in some short term fatigue, so if used multiple times one after the other, it would exhaust him physically, while if he used one then only fought with his sword till he was ready to use it again, then it would to take a larger number of attacks before he reached the same level of exhaustion. So fewer attacks in a short period of time vs greater number of attacks over the course of the entire battle, though both would produce a large amount of fatigue, the kind that that can't be dealt with in mid-battle (aside from healing or buffs maybe?).

I just used your example of a weakness because it looked like it would fit well, with the move. Should I think of another one?
