I'm Sorry, But the King You're Looking For is....
#6
Cutting the bike hard to the right as he hit the brakes, Zack also skidded to a stop below this odd duo and their ride. The smoke swept through the area, but he managed to see their foes high above them, and he heard their demands just the same. Although he was unsure of what exactly was happening, Zack went ahead and drew the Buster Sword in his right hand, letting the tip of the blade rest on the ground.

Although he was careful to not let these newcomers leave his eyesight, he also made sure to keep glancing back so he could monitor the mayor. He quickly looked over to Miranda, keeping her suggestion in mind, but something was off about this and he wanted to know the details. Sure, the mayor was a bit of an oddball, but he wasn't the type to hand over anyone to someone that arrived in such an aggressive fashion, even if they were the authorities. Not that such a title meant much to him, anymore. Zack glanced to the mayor in his car quickly once again.

"Start explaining. Right now," Zack ordered in a rare serious tone, then gestured his head towards Miranda, knowing the mayor would just love to have a conversation about this with her.

Zack, however, was already focused on the two individuals and their dragon. They certainly seemed like an odd pair, from what little he could gather about them all the way down here. Then again, he wasn't exactly able to criticize an odd pairing at the moment. He decided to yell up to them, and if they couldn't hear him they would just have to get a little lower to the ground.

"Let's just calm down, here, fellas! I think we can work this out without me having to blast another dragon out of the sky!"

Zack was ready to abandon his bike at a second's notice, knowing full and well he'd be more mobile in a combat situation without it. The only problem was he didn't know how Miranda and the mayor could handle another blast from these guys. If this went south, he'd have to move quick. He waited for the mayor to talk and tightly gripped his sword, preparing to jump into action at the slightest indication of any further aggression.
