Rekindling the Spark
#16
The other two had already dashed through the gate, so I was left there, standing, facing the gate, with the man in tow. "Well, are you ready to present yourself and your case to the other two?" I questioned him. "Do I really have a choice?" He retorted, still not too happy I almost blew him up. I nodded to him and he passed through the gate. I was about to follow, before I realized that Kanda's cart and my car were still there. They were too large to go through the gate. I thought for a moment. "If we can use Omnilium to summon things, then, theoretically, they would be made of genetically altered Omnilium, so if I could find a way to reverse the mutation... Of course! We focused to bring them here, we focus to take them back!" I first turned to my Laytonmobile. I remained still, closed my eyes, and focused. My conscious was telling me that Quill would be doomed by the other two if he showed up with me missing, but I had to concentrate. After a while, I felt Omnilium beginning to flow back into me. It was working! After a little longer of the strange feeling, it stopped. I opened my eyes, and my Laytonmobile was gone! Now, what was I to do with Kanda's vechicle and his horse? I could not bear to remove the horse, it was still a living creature, and his cart was made from his own Omnilium... Maybe there could be a way for me to not absorb it, but hold it so I could deliver it to him again... I began to try. The temptation to go through the gate was great, as they would be sitting there, waiting for me, either fighting Quill or having him explain. I began. After the same process, I opened my eyes and saw the horse still there, looking a little scared, and a ball of Omnilium in my hand. I slipped it under my hat and went to the horse. It could still fit through the gate. I led it with its reins, though the gate. It felt strange, like I was both flying and at the same time squashed in a box. Then suddenly, out I popped, the horse still behind me. I looked up.
