Thaal: I wanted to keep things smaller so the main Verses would maintain relevance. However, I wouldn't mind turning it into a sort of Solar System of sorts, which somewhat larger planets, some gas giants, asteroids, etc. I didn't include a sun mainly just because it didn't really seem necessary due to Omniphysics, and because I wanted Knowhere to be the "center" of the Verse, rather than a star. I still think having epic space battles in ships doesn't really require larger planets, or a star. In fact, most space battles in fiction tend to happen either in a void, or just off planet. Since the Planetoids exhibit gravity higher than their size would suggest, this can still happen. However, I think a size increase to about a 100 mile diameter for solid planets and 1000 or so for Gas Giants would be fine. How does that sound?
Carn: I specifically strayed away from that, just because I wanted people to be able to find planets from series they enjoy, such as Dune, Helios Prime, etc. And to maintain SOME degree of separation between this Verse and the others. This Verse WILL be huge, and the planetoids will be spread about fairly randomly (basically at the whim of the people roleplaying there). There will be very few "per-made" planets (Knowhere is the only one I have in mind so far), so Players can introduce ones of their own. Which goes back to the "small" planets part; I'm trying to keep people from creating something larger than our current Verses, and as I said, making them more or less moot.
