The Shadow Over Costa Del Sol (Open)
#7
Nealaphh whipped around to look at the source of the voice. It was a young man, who spoke with a strange affectation. He was dressed in dark robes, much as Nealaphh had been previously. So, it appeared as though it had not entirely escaped scrutiny by marching this girl off to this ideally clandestine location. There was no telling what he was capable of, but normal denizens of the Omniverse usually were not so bold as to confront potential death in the face. The black-clad youth was, more than likely, a prime. There was no telling how dangerous he might be, so the situation had immediately become perilous.

Just then, Nealaphh noticed a strange blue light radiating from behind itself. It preferred to keep its eyes on the stealthy prime, but the blue light could potentially be an attack, so Nealaphh quickly projected a spacial warp between itself and Demetri before turning its head to regard the source of the light. It was the girl; she was emanating a strange blue field of light. At this point, it was apparent that Nealaphh was, in fact, dealing with two primes. While it had gained much power during its time in the Omniverse, Nealaphh did not favor its odds in fending off two other chosen of the Smiling One at once. Perhaps...perhaps there was another way to turn this situation to its advantage.

With slow movements, Nealaphh lowered the shield between itself and Demetri and telekinetically moved the blaster rifle it was toting to the far side of the room. Since neither of the primes immediately made a move to attack, Nealaphh proceeded to slowly lift the stormtrooper helmet off of its face, revealing the glistening, black, stoney skin underneath and its three green eyes. Both of the other primes looked startled, and the girl looked nearly terrified to the point of being ill. Still, the god-mind gently lowered the helmet to the floor with a telekinetic hand and crossed its arms as if it still wore its thick robes. With a gentle mental nudge, it reached out and tapped the minds of the two individuals, speaking telepathically.

I am glad that we now seem to have an opportunity to discuss our current situation in the privacy of this abode. First, let me clarify that I do not intend to harm either of you. My business, as you have so astutely deduced, is a matter of clandestine nature, so it is critical that I am not forced to reveal my presence in public. Nealaphh said, nodding to Demetri. It then turned to regard the pink haired girl, who seemed almost too nervous to look the shadow in its eyes.

I apologize for my crass appropriation of your person, young miss. The crowd expected me to treat you as a criminal, and therefore rough handling was called for. You are free to go now, if you so choose, though I sense great confusion in your thoughts. Perhaps it would be better to stay with someone willing to help. it said, blinking slowly. If it played this situation right, it could, potentially, gain two powerful allies in this otherwise hostile verse.

Quote:As an aside, both characters will probably notice that the air is very cold around Nealaphh.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued
