Retane is mentioned like only one, in japanese sub's. He could be one of those three namek warriors technically. I picture him as the one closest to Piccolo's size. Thus he became my canon.

I have always pronounced it as Ruh-taun-ay. I will always do it as so. It actually fits and sounds right with alot of names that will reach the Secondaries im going to make... a few are latin... So yeah
