You can blame my Dad for most of the classic rock. My mom wanted only Christian music played so my Dad would take me on drives for "father / son" bonding time and we would just listen to the classic rock stations and drive around.

That's amazing. My parents were both pretty much hippies/druggies/???? so I got a really eclectic mix from them. They were both always really supportive in my musical endeavors though, even when I listened to shit that irritated them to death.
