Cat was, once upon a time, a normal child in a human world where she didn't have any special powers at all. She was a bright light to some people, yet poison to others who hated her. She made her friends happier, and pretended not to be scared when she was around them, throwing up mental walls to keep the fear in and everything else out. She found refuge from her many fears in reading tales about knights and dragons, magical creatures and epic quests, even writing a few tales of her own to share with her friends. At night one day, when she had fallen asleep at her window watching the moon, she found herself torn away from her home- and all of her memories. She thought she was dreaming at first, when she found herself in the middle of a foreign place with no recollection of how she had gotten there. It wasn't till much later when she was struggling to find help getting home, that she realized all of her memory was gone. Her name, her life, everything before she had awoken was erased except for all of her functions. She could take care of her self, english was still english and math still made sense, but she had no recollection of when or where she had learned these. With the lack of memory however, she found that she had new abilities, more powerful than she was comfortable with, but also strong enough to make her feel safe-ish. Perhaps the new world was worth a chance?
With my question answered, and that last edit to the history, i think she's done now, yes?
