Beach Party Thread(Non-Canon)
#58
The man slowly sauntered up onto the beach, the heels of his dingo boots digging into the grit below. He dropped the folding chair unceremoniously into the sand, opened it, and pushed it down firmly to secure its position.

Sighing heavily, he held his hand up and glared at the gleaming sun, cursing it's unforgiving rays. He tugged on the edges if his dark red hood, stepped in front of the chair, and plopped down into it.

"Great day for a bit of beach action," Hati declared excitedly, a broad grin spreading as his aviator sunglasses glittered playfully. He pursed his lips and surveyed the scene. "Lots of... drinks? What the fuck is everyone drinking? Is that Pepsi?"

Skoll sneered and tugged at the black collar of his shirt. "Yes. The living embodiment of Pepsi is the only person serving drinks." He wore exclusively black and refused to remove his large, wool military jacket despite the protest of his companions.

"Good thing I brought my own shit," Hati scoffed, rummaging around in a large beach bag that was slung over his shoulder. His white button up flirted in the wind, exposing his bare chest and white trunks. "Want some, boss?" He extended a large bottle of coconut rum and motioned to the bar man, who tossed over a 7-Up.

"Wait," the man in the chair asked, "is 7-Up Pepsi brand?"

"I dunno," said the writer with a shrug, "Sprite is Coke brand though."

"Ah, fuck it." The man in the red hoodie scoffed and cracked the can open with a hiss. He chugged half the soft drink and filled the rest of the can with the booze, "You spend way too much time on little clerical research shit like that anyways."

Hati nudged his shoulder and motioned to one if the many women wandering the beach. "You gonna go after any these fine honies?" Skoll groaned, rolling his eyes. "It's not like you're ever gonna get to interact with anyone on this site again."

He shook his head, "Nah. I think that one version of Viper was pretty much it as far as love interest goes. I hate that every female character is defined by her relationships in media anyways. I'm just over that shit, man."

"Fuck me, Sigfried, nail on the head." The Woman With No Name said add she took a long swig from her beer. "Can't a character just be a character? Omni's ass hair, every girl has to be fucking somebody to be mentioned in most plotlines. And even when they aren't, they're being defined by how they aren't, you know?"

"Yeah," Sigfried grumbled, "fucking bullshit." Shaking his head, he motioned towards her, "Anyways, what brings you into this thread? I didn't even think you were really established yet."

"Ah, I'm really not," she admitted and laughed her raspy laugh. "I'm still arching for Sinestro. Once that thread wraps up I'll be out and about."

"Oh nice!" Sigfried grinned and swilled another huge gulp of his concoction. "You're gonna do well, I think."

Nodding solemnly, WWNN stared down at the sand. "Thanks man, means a lot from you. It's a real shame you can't roll out too."

"Eh," the old primary character sighed, "I'm just not really practical with these rules. I just don't mechanically work here."

"Fuckin' shame..." she fished the bottle and tossed it into the wet soil.

He held both hands up and shrugged, "Hey man, it is what it is. If I was here, I don't think you would be. It's all good dude. We've all got our time, and the author can always do other stuff with us." The trio nodded in synchronous.

"Truth," she nodded, crossing her arms. A soft smirk grew on her lips and she raised an eyebrow, "Know what's funny?"

"What," Sigfried asked lethargically, crushing his can and belching.

"The only place Sinestro is gonna show up in this post is gonna be in the profile name." Her smirk grew into a grin and she turned to face him.

Laughing uproariously, Sigfried shouted, "Nice!" and gave her a high-five.
