Gate in the Green
Location: Tangled Green
Requirements to complete (can be started earlier). May be completed alone or as a group.
Combined Level of 5+. Level requirement is lowered by 1 ONLY if one or more member has Basic Regeneration OR 2 for Advanced Regeneration OR 3 for Healing. It is also lowered by 1 for each member with the Survival power.
Difficulty: Extreme (20,000-40,000 words dependent on writing quality)
Reward: Void entrance in the Green.
The green is a vibrant verse, filled with more life than any other. It is impossible to go anywhere without seeing it in great abundance. Almost anywhere.
As you travel leagues past the gates, spending days and weeks to trek further into the forest, you may find that it grows denser, more impassable. Not even the biggest orc tribes make their territory here; only the corrupt black orcs and their cursed kin, who feed off the ambient darkness in this zone, enjoy the level of cruelty that seems to have embedded itself in the local wildlife. And not even they go to the Swamp of Sadness.
It is said that the swamp saps one’s will to live. Brave warriors go here and find themselves suddenly reliving all their past failures, all of the things that drive them to give up. Slowly at first, but the swamp is long and it is patient. It has time. And when you let down your guard it will take root until you are more than willing to let the swamp take you. To sink down into the depths.
Make it through, and you will have transcended this realm.
