The thrall laughed darkly, and unnatural sound coming from the girl who otherwise held an otherwise sunny disposition. Granted, her white and blue cammy was stained with coffee sick and blood, and her yellow denim skirt was soaked through with stagnant sea water. Her hair, drawn back into a loose, bouncy ponty tail was greasy with sweat, and clung to her dark brown skin like a mishappen leech. When the thrall spoke next, it was with a new sharpness to its tone. Not entirely anger, not entirely defiance. It was an alien emotion that could best be described as...dominance?
"This is my head, by right of conquest. Don't proclaim that ownership through might is invalid; I doubt all of this was gifted to you." the thrall-mind chided, gesturing at the omnipresent treasure and the flotilla of ships that dangled overhead like oaken thunderclouds. The thrall returned her gaze to Behemoth, a twisted grin on her face.
"But you want to speak to the tenant in here? Listen to her whimper and wail? Oh...very well." the thrall said tapping the back of her head. Millie's eyes suddenly snapped shut and her head lolled backwards, bouncing against the decayed leather of the couch she sat on. A moment passed before there came a soft sound from the girl's mouth. She picked her head up and placed a hand over her eyes, as if even the chiaroscuro lighting of this dank cave was too bright. When she peered through her fingers at Behemoth, it could be seen that her eyes were now bloodshot and sullen. They widened and she whipped her head around. With a shrill scream, she made a motion to clamber over the couch and into the boat, but her body suddenly seized up and fell back on the soft seating. Behemoth could have sworn he heard a distant cackling somewhere...
"...who...who...who..." she whimpered, trying to catch her breath. Her chest heaved violently, as if she had a heavy weight on it.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" she shouted, anger wrinkling her youthful complexion. Her eyes flicked around the cave in a frenzy, and came to rest on the soft glint of the firearm by Behemoth's side. She could barely remeber what was going on...it was like trying to remember a dream long passed. Blood...and...a voice. The Monster...stars...cats...what the fuck was going on?

And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued
