I think the idea is interesting, but rather than an iceberg (which is a bit silly for a place like the Vasty Deep to begin with), I think the sinking should be the result of a PLF bomb. The Deep IS PLF territory, after all, and they would be most eager to hit the Empire right when it would hurt the most.

As someone who likes seeing the Omniverse get fleshed out further, I'm all for it. However, I'm not sure if I'll actually join myself. It entirely depends on how much I'll be able to improve my post rate by the time this occurs.
