Re-Joining as Grimlock
#3
Guu Wrote:Jaws: Way it's written makes it sound like all opponents will be ripped to shreds by this move. You'd think people with high defense will have more gristle. xD
All kidding aside, I don't want this to be an instant kill move, at least for primes. Imagine how unsporting this would be for other players if you ripped them in half on the first post. Maybe just describe how sharp it is and leave it at that. Or I dunno, think about it.

The rest of my complaints are all RP fodder:

Armored Tail: How long is the tail in measurements? Would like to now how far this can reach.

Warhammer and Morningstar: not only tell me the reach of these things, but how big is the blunt end of the weapon? Would like to know how much surface area you're chucking at people.

Just cover that stuff and finish your history. After that, you'd be golden!

The description for Jaws wasn't meant to sound like I could rip someone like Proto in half. More like I had no clue how to describe a set of T-Rex jaws while I was exhausted. I'll get back to you on that one. I may even just say fuck it and apply for the move later after I join so I can at least have some time to think about it. In fact. Let's do that. Scratch Jaws from the list and I'll just add 300 OM to my left over OM and rewrite it when I'm not fatigued. Get it approved and then just buy it.

Armored Tail -- Assuming the wording on Growth is correct I don't need it to make my Alternate Form Dinosaur 18 feet fall and 40 feet long. So the tail would be...20 feet long? Reach would end at the tip of the tail so maybe a few feet depending on how hard he swung it in a circular motion. It would be a close combat thing only. Nothing beyond that.

Warhammer and Morningstar: On that related note my Grimlock Humanoid form will be 6' 3" tall due to Omniphysics so we'll make the Warhammer 6 feet long, the end of the weapon about 1 foot wide with spikes coming off each side. The Morningstar would be a rounded half shell like that of a bowling ball covered in evenly spaced out spikes.

Background:

Grimlock's previous life before Omniverse wasn't a glamorous one. Having been successfully captured during one of the final battles of the Autobot War on their new home world of Earth, Optimus Prime locked him away in a stasis chamber for high treason instead of outright destroying him. Prime knew that if he could turn Grimlock back he could easily wipe out of the Decepticons for you see at the very start of the war Megatron had finally proven that he was a more capable leader than Prime. The ancient pre-historic warrior obviously chose to serve the better commander and as a gift brought several Autobot heads to his new lord Megatron in recompense for past crimes. Branding Grimlock a Decepticon he made him a high ranking officer in his new army. So as Grimlock lay in cryostasis Omni took interest in the mechanized warrior and pulled him from Optimus Prime's grasp and into the Omniverse.
