About the Author: Why this character?
#20
Back when I played FF7, when it first came out...I loved the concept of Zack. Of course you didn't see much of him, but that mystery only made him a more interesting character to me. He was connected to everything, and yet absent, so you couldn't help but wonder about him. Zack made a couple of appearances in an RP I was involved with at the time, and I really enjoyed fleshing him out. Fast forward a few years, and this NPC that I got attached to gets his own game. I loved what they did with Crisis Core for the most part, and it actually changed the way I viewed FF7. They connected him so well to Cloud, Aerith, Tseng, and a lot of other FF7 characters that the next time I played through FF7 Zack's absence stood out tremendously. Which, given the plot of the game, is I guess a good effect. Either way, I was left with this feeling thinking that Zack had a lot more to do and give. So, here I get to play with him in the sandbox.

Also, I really like giant swords.
