Guu quietly sighed. She enjoyed trolling this guy a lot, but now he wants business pitches. What was his deal anyways?

But, she couldn’t complain about possible new blood in Ambrosia, so she decided to play along.

“Well, first off, there’s no king or queen, just me.”

“Just you?” He asked.

“Yeah, just me. You might think I’m a bit young for the job, but I can handle it.” She pats Victor on the cheek mockingly. “Though, I guess we’re more a principality rather than a kingdom. Same difference.”

She sits down back in her seat and motion Victor so sit with her. In front of her is an entire banana crème pie.

“Our kingdom is located in the Tangled, about a 20 minute ride south from the gate. It used to be colony composed of Camelot residence, but 2/3rds of the population up and left when a major battle between two primes broke out. All that was left were the dataverse-obsessed teenagers. Had a fun time whipping them into shape.”

She places the entire pie in her mouth, tin and all, and appears to chew it. However, she spits it out again, the pie perfectly intact. She follows this action with a well-timed “Yucky.”

“Anyways, with houses to fill, we’ve been taking in refugees from Camelot. They’re a closed minded bunch over there, so we get a lot of the odd species. Like, animals that walk on two feet and talk, magical cat like creatures called moogle… a lot.”

She splatted the pie into her own face, globs of crème and crust dripping off, getting all over the place. Victor tried to ignore her antics.

“It sounds like Ambrosia is a very idealized place, at least on paper… Does it have any enemies?” He asked. Guu grunted at the fact that he was ignoring her antics. She responded promptly.

“Well, there’s plenty of orc in the Tangled. They seem pretty intent on killing us. Have to deal with them at some point.” She said, trying to think. “There’s plenty of monsters in the Tangled, there’s always the threat one of them might wander into town. Let’s see, there are ghosts in the forest that border our lands. Oh yeah, not to mention the zealots from Camelot who don’t agree with our lifestyles. Heard there are some really nasty ones.”

With a glow of her magic, the pie suddenly disappeared from her face and clothes, making her completely clean. Still all over the floor, though.

“I’ll need to do some laundry when I get home…”

“Well, sounds like an interesting place, princess!”

“Yeah, it’s fun. Just hope New Babylon doesn’t want to give us any more trouble.”

“Wait, what?” Victor asked, the name raising a few flags in the young assassin’s mind.

“Oh yeah, the faction Gilgamesh is running now-a-days. Bitter rivals he and I.” Guu stated. Victor gulped as he fears have been confirmed. “I was trolling him on Twitter, and he just up and decided to attack me in real life. In fact, it was our fight that got 2/3rds of the population to leave.”

“And… are you at war with them now?” He asked, timidly at the possibility that he maybe chatting it up with a future hit.

“I wouldn’t say war.” She said, thinking carefully of her wording. “We kind of made a truce at the end of our thing. Thought that was the end of it, but then he sent a seven man hit squad against my crew in DA. Don’t know what he feels of me now.”

Victor had a wave of memory hit him. He did join Gilgamesh to trounce one of the smaller groups. Was that the event she was describing? He thought hard to remember if he fought a little girl in that. However, before he could dig up any details, Guu suddenly gasped in surprise. His paranoia shot through the roof. Did she remember?

“Oh my god, she’s here…” Guu stated out of context. Victor’s fear quickly turned into confusion. Follow-up questions were quickly squandered however, as another noodle like arm wrapped around his neck again and he was dragged behind her as she ran towards the medical bay.

“She’s here! I know it!” A manic smile spread across her face. Victor was afraid again.
