Desco opened her eyes to stare at a white ceiling, unsure of what had happened. Tubes were all over her and introducing liquid into her body. She could feel that Yogsothoth had finally been unsummoned and she wasn't wearing the collar around her neck anymore. Her mana came unbound as expected without the collor. She sat up and looked around. A curtain surrounded the bed she was laying in and medical monitors with wires attached to her alongside the tubes. Desco was curious at first about why she was in this strange hospital, then she realized that she must have died in Dante's Abyss. She slumped as she realized her failure, but she wasn't as sad about her own failure as when she had heard that someone had attacked Guu. Guu, like her Big Sis or Daddy, was more important to her than herself.
Desco started to look at the tubes and the wires more closely. She was used to this kind of treatment in the lab, but now that she felt fully recovered they were unnessecary. As she started to shift around a little, she found a piece of folded paper on the table next to her. She picked it up and read the paper. Desco, I made sure they gave you the latest medical care. You did great in Dante's Abyss! But many of them were hero's, so don't be disappointed that you died. That is what hero's do after all, beat Final Bosses! As she was good, she tore out the monitors and tubes, causing a little bleeding that quickly stopped. Then she walked out of the curtain and left before any medical personnel could object to her getting up and walking around.
