About the Author: Why this character?

[Okor]

I saw this place, saw how serious (emo) a lot of characters were, ('cause the first ones I saw chatting were Retane, Sasuke, Okor, Vincent, etc.) I wanted to bring a twist into it by picking the most ridiculous and outrageous character I could find. I like the juxtaposition of the "worlds of horror, pain, and emotionally scarred people" idea next to "literally my superpower is that I don't make sense at all".

That emo thing hurts me deep. Okor's perfectly happy, and he's glad to share his happiness with you via the medium of disease.

Anyways, I suppose I'll do this...

I picked Okor, as, depending on your point of view, he's either a valorous villain, or a very, very, anti-hero. Due to my familiarity with the 40k universe, my love for survivable characters, and Nurgle being my favourite chaos god, a plague marine was one of my first choices. The Death Guard have always been a favourite 40k faction of mine, having followed their king into the service of the Emperor, and later, rebellion. The plague and sickness aspect was something I wanted to investigate, as I was curious to see how disease would work in the Omniverse (And I'm not disappointed). All in all, I felt like Okor was a character with a wide array of motivations, feelings, and potential plotlines, not to mention his geniality serving as a counterpoint to the wide array of characters that seem inclined to go through every day feeling sorry for themselves.
