Ain't Cutting no Ice [Gin/Alain/Mami/Jack Mitchell]
#5
"Well," Lubbock began, scratching his head, "Maybe we could... no, that wouldn't work... ah, I know! No, wait..." he continued, trying to think of something.

"You don't know how to cook, do you, Lubbock?" Syura asked cockily. Lubbock went red-faced, and was about to blurt out a mindless retort as he heard a familiar, female voice. He turned his head to see a pair of bouncing, golden spirals dashing towards him before the girl wearing them embraced the green haired man, who was both in shock and relief.

"Oh, hey, Mami! Great to see you again!" he told her as he patted her head a little, then felt how damn cold she was. He quickly pulled away and swung off his hunter green coat before crouching down and wrapping it around Mami. He stood back up and shivered a slight bit as he looked down at his old companion, "There you go. Jeez, what are you thinking, being out here in those clothes? You could have frozen to death!"

"Mind you, death isn't the end," Alain piped up from the background, and Lubbock turned around, poking his tongue at the red-cloaked mercenary.

Lubbock finally replied to Mami's initial question, "This here," he pointed his thumb at Gin, who was smiling kindly, "is my friend, Gin. Met him before entering that bloodbath, Dante's Abyss," Speaking of which, I did remember seeing her name somewhere, but never saw her there... he thought, but shrugged it off as he looked to Alain, "And this is the douche who near on killed me with a large, four-armed beast-thing," he explained, receiving a grimace from him.

"It's nice to meet you... Mami, was it?" Gin greeted her, and extended his hand out, which the young girl cheerfully took. Lubbock slid his hands into the pockets of his jeans, now that he had granted the warm salvation of his jacket to Mami, and turned to his large pet, who by now had finished with his lunch. This caused Lubbock to reminisce about the original conversation, and he felt like he was about to sweat even in this cold hell. He turned his face, now a façade of a nervous wreck, to Mami.

"Um... question... do you by any chance know how to cook?" he asked, somewhat regretfully.

Quote:Yeah, decided to get rid of the flashy colour crap. Became too much trouble and I realised it also became taxing on the eyesight to read xD
