The mustached psychic did not respond to Nealaphh's mind-thrall, which confused the shadow. Was this man not aware of the possibility that a god-mind such as itself could easily grasp hold of the sort of weak minds to be found in this wretched den of capitalism and dehumanization? Millie opened her mouth to speak a few more forced words, but a pause came when Nealaphh caught a flash of green out of the corner of its eye. The god-mind looked into the crowd of swarming people, trying to see if The Hero of Time had finally emerged from wherever it was that the dead contestants were reconstituted? There were too many people in the way...Nealaphh couldn't afford to focus on keeping this Millie girl's mind captive any longer. As easily as the god-mind had captured the writhing consciousness, the girl would suddenly find her mind and body released. Her chilled drink fell to the ground with a sharp splash, and the young woman abruptly ran away from where she had been held, trying to hold back tears of panic. Honestly, Nealaphh couldn't understand why someone would need to feel so aggravated by a simple intrusion of their motor functions. It wasn't as if the god-mind had damaged her in any way whatsoever. Regardless, the shadow kept it's triple gaze focused on the crowd.

There, near the portal door. The Hylian's eyes swiftly met Nealaphh's own otherworldly gaze, and the pair paused for a moment. Link, being the warrior he was, immediately began sizing the god-mind up as a potential threat. Nealaphh could tell this by the way his clear blue eyes flitted over the shadow's glimmering, black body. Nealaphh, unwilling to let his quarry escape, slowly approached the Hero of Time, and sent a gentle tap over to the Hylian knight's consciousness. Link maintained a wary stance, however, and slowly began to palm the hilt of his cherished Master Sword. Worried that the Hero might decide to flee, Nealaphh began to try and feed images from the Ashen Steppes to Link's defensive mind. The three-pronged symbol of the Gorons, and the bulk of Darunia's smiling face. Nealaphh maintained its slow approach, making no moves at all aside from its measured strides. The Hero's posture was not relaxing, but a faint glimmer of interest graced his otherwise staunch features. The god-mind attempted to speak into Link's mind, but it would be difficult with how wary the boy was.

Be at peace, Hero of Time. I come on behalf of Darunia, of the Gorons. We seek your aid...
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued
