Nealaphh kept its triple gaze fixed on Behemoth, the glowing green eyes narrowing ever so slightly. The air of malice hanging off of this man was palpable, but beyond that, his thoughts were guarded well. Nealaphh did not really play in to what it considered to be misplaced perceptions of good and evil, but it did know a predator when it saw one. The god-mind cast its gaze to the crowd around Behemoth for a second. What did he stand to gain from being here? Motivations were highly inscrutable within the Multiverse, and Nealaphh would be surprised if anyone would necessarily be able to guess why it itself was here. The shadow looked at the screen which Behemoth had been focused on, and watched as the contestant known as Gildarts went about mending the broken form of The Pink Enigma. From viewing the games thus far, Nealaphh was aware that Gildarts and The Pink Enigma jad a pre-existing relationship, and that the wizard was a follower of the girl known as Guu. Was this large man associated with this group as well?
Nealaphh wanted to inquire, but it did not necessarily want to immediately get into a contest of mental will with this man right now. Not that it was afraid that it would lose, per se, but it wanted to be able to keep a portion of its attention on keeping track of Link's emergence. As such, Nealaphh wrapped its thoughts around the mind of a young woman in a 'Guffy Co.' Tshirt that was currently walking near the god-mind. Her eyes glossed over, and as she paused mid-stride, her two female friends looked back over their shoulders.
"Millie, uh, what's up?" one of them asked, taking a sip of her iced coffee. Nealaphh bored through Millie's mind until it found a suitable response.
"I...want to place some more bets. You guys can...go to the movies ahead of me. There are gonna be...previews...anyway." the young lady said, her tone slightly stilted and distant. Her two friends looked at her with concerned faces. Nealaphh thought for a moment that they might be aware she was not speaking for herself, but its concerns were swiftly assuaged.
"Mils...you gotta go easy on this gambling."
"Yeah, are you even gonna have enough for your part of rent?"
Millie blinked slowly.
"It will be fine...Trish. I know what I'm doing."
The other two females sighed and began to walk away.
"Don't take as long as last time!" Trish called back. Once they were out of sight, Nealaphh turned Millie to face Behemoth, and spoke more fluently, now that it didn't have to keep up appearances. The god-mind was vaguely aware of the girl's trapped sentience screaming in fear within the supressed depths of her mind, but Nealaphh didn't pay it much mind. She would be unharmed once the god-mind released her.
"Who are you that ventures here? Do you owe allegiance to the one called Guu?" Millie asked, her fear-glazed eyes meeting Behemoth's own. Nealaphh did what it could to deactivate Millie's rigidity reflex, but there was no perfect fix for the mind-thrall's rod straight posture.

And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued
