Daxter was watching the television as close as he possibly could push through the secondaries, "Hey!!! Watch it pal..." As soon as Daxter got a good view, he stood there to the television to see the action going on. There was a hurricane going on the island and things were looking bad outside on the television. He remained quiet and hoped that Jak was alright. He watched around him for anybody he knew but there was nobody.

Commander Torn was one of the secondaries from Jak's world who decided to make that special trip to the preshow boundaries to watch Jak's progress on the big screen. The wind was howling and the rain was falling down on the island. Not a very pleasant viewing space. There was Daxter, Jak's friend there to watch the progress as well. As much as he didn't like the ottsel, he admitted that both of them had come for the same reason.
