I tried to remain excited about Pokemon after red/blue/yellow, but everything since has felt like a cheesy rehash with tons of knockoff add-on pokemon.
Legit, tons of the new pokemon are basically old ones but drawn different. It's depressing. That, and having 569,000,000,000 pokemon just seems overwhelming to the absurd. I preferred the original 151; quality over quantity.
I don't think pokemon will ever capture my attention again. And that makes me sad, because it was a huge part of my childhood.
