Desco felt bad that they had attacked Mami. Not so bad that she really regretted actually doing it, but sad that they had to hurt a magical girl. She had seen Mami in the preshow and watched as she moved about gracefully in her pretty dress. Desco wanted to be a magical girl sometime if she could find a way to transform into one. But at the same time, magical girls are usually Heroic, unless she could fall into a dark magical girl getup. Fortunately Guu took care of Luffy's injury, Desco felt a little useless that she didn't have her healing magic. She hasn't had that since before Omniverse, and she always felt bad when she recalled her lost powers.
The group continued on past Mami aimlessly, and they came into sight of some sand and rocky outcroppings along the shore, they found the end of the island! They must be close to that mountain on the map. "Hey Look! Its water!" "Alight ha ha ha! Maybe we could build a raft and go out to sea!" They looked out to the distance as waves driffed lazily along. A quiet and peaceful location, far away from magical wizards and bounty hunters picking on poor defenses caterpillars and the guy that raised them.
Desco and Guu walked up to the shoreline. "Hey Guu, lets play frisbee!" Guu looked at her Vibrainium shield, made of the toughest metal known to the Earth it was made on. It could probably be dangerous to play frisbee with it if they mis-threw it. "Sure.." Desco floated quickly away, or quickly for Desco since she moved very slowly, and then Guu lightly tossed the shield to Desco with a high throw. Desco caught it and then flung it at Guu, who used her stretching power to get around the overenthusiastic toss and grab its handle, spinning until it hit the sand, then snapping and spinning back. "Maybe we should do something else Desco. How about we go swimming, there could be fish."
Desco looked out and toed into the water. "But Desco doesn't know how to swim." "I thought your middle name was Submersible!" The final boss was a little embarrassed because Guu was right, that was her middle name. "But daddy never taught Desco how to swim! She can float and breathe underwater, but Desco has never been underwater!" "Well come on I'll show you." Desco left behind Yogsothoth, which just floated idle on the beach seemingly watch the two little girls. Guu's outfit shifted to a one piece blue swimsuit with 'Guu' written on her chest in the native language from Hare's village, while Desco had no change of clothes so she stayed as is.
Guu tasted the water as the pair waded out to the water. "This is saltwater so its even easier to float in. Just give me your hands and let your body relax." Desco did as she was instructed and then she was floating in the water. "Desco did it!" She was excited at even the small accomplishments that she completed. Guu let go of one of Desco's hands and shapeshifted fingers onto her hands, moving them back and forth. "Now just kick your feet like this." Desco started kicking her feet, her mouth part open now lightly 'Ooo'ing. Then Guu waved her arm around in big circles "Now just wave your arms in big circles... and goo!" Guu let go of Desco's other hand and she tried to start swimming. But she wasn't moving at all in the water and soon sank into the water head first. She struggled a little, surprised, and then got herself back upright standing on the shallow sand."That didn't work!"
