To Hellboy and Back [Complete]

The Hulking half-demon and synthetic android were both blocked by the little by the little girl in between them. Hellboy gave off a low growl and blew hard on his cigar making the hit the android's face. The Android stared back with a cold blank face its eyes glowing red with heat resonating off of them.

"I don't know what your problem is pal, but I'm not your enemy I only wanted to help," HB said giving a sneer.

"My scanners detect that are what classifies as a demon and to basic knowledge you're considered to be a malevolent creature."

Hellboy's eyes widened and his face curled. "I'll show you, Malevolent creature!"  The Half-demon grabbed a nearby trash can and raised it above his head. The androids glowing eyes intensified and it began to float a few inches off the ground.

 "Okay, none of that! I won't have you two fighting over me, so put your eye laser away, put your trashcan down and talk like sensible grown-ups for a change!"

The large dropped the trash can and mumbled to himself and folded his arms. The android landed back to the ground and its eyes no longer glowed red. The Machine shot a quick glance at the demon and then to the little girl. 

"If you insist on me talking to this being bred to be evil then you are clearly being illogical, he is a demon born to be evil. They come from a world bent on the rule of only the strongest shall survive."

Hellboy jumped forward and the machine turned to him in a defensive stance. "Hey! I'm right here ya know, look, kid, I'm not here to hurt you I overheard what that punk said I was only doing what I thought was right. "     

"Vision, you need to understand that you are not in your world anymore. Omni changed everything when he brought us all here. I mean look." She pointed down on the ground near where the teen had hit the wall. A pile of feces lay on the ground. "The guy with the knife was a demon, too. Would a demon poop themselves in fear?"

Hellboy looked to where the little girl had pointed and flinched "Jeez."

"It's an illogical world, Vis. Maybe it's time you update your databanks."

Hellboy stepped closer to the little girl and pocketed his hands in his trench coat. "Look this kid has a  good point, if I was able to I'd change all this," he waved to his red face and pointed to the two stumps where his horns should have been. "I'm as human as the next guy and I was not raised by other demons." 

The Android gave a silent nod of content. What they said was enough to persuade him that the big red half-demon was not evil. Hellboy knelt down to the kids level and gave a smile,

"You alright kiddo?"

"Yeah, nothing I'm not used to by now. Let's go."
