(Pre-Show) The Park
#20
Lubbock waved back at the girl, who he STILL didn't know the name of, and turned back to the lodge. Dojo, huh? There's a place to look at literally hot girls, he told himself, perverted images flashing in his mind. Before long, he snapped back to reality and his mind's eye came back to Earth. He looked back over to the lodge and noticed the bird still standing, turning now and then when it heard noises. Lubbock approached the bird first, the creature not looking at him. As he began to reach up to scratch it, it turned and squawked at him, sending him reeling backwards onto his backside. He picked himself quickly off the ground, and imagined a giant chicken turning over an equally giant fire. He turned away from his new rival and strode into the inn, stepping over the broken wood and stone strewn across the floorboards, and one circular table that was also knocked over.

Lubbock's heart skipped a beat when he saw the waitress standing beside the rubble - young, beautiful, elegant. But when he noticed she was pointing, his thoughts flew away. I guess saving that red-head kid would be a good way to earn some credit, he decided. He strolled over to a booth-type seat and saw Red (that was the nickname Lubbock had given him) upside down in it, unconscious. As Lubbock reached out for him, he heard the giant bird outside squawk again. Oh, shut up, you bastard, he cursed the bird in his mind. He grabbed Red's leg and pulled it down causing the boy to flip onto his side. Still not awake.

Lubbock waited a few minutes, then when the boy's eyes started fluttering open, Lubbock's first words were.
"I really feel like cooking that bird right now,"
