Please read this before claiming.

We have always had a room against using excessive bbcode in your IC posts, colouring, formatting etc. This is now a hard rule as it bloats OM gain significantly. Do this and you WILL be audited. Ignore this warning at your peril. The text and nothing but the text, please. Quote tags may still be used if absolutely necessary, as always.

Please do not colour/fontchange dialogue etc.

And we've been using colors in posts specifically because we were told that it was okay because they didn't affect the OM count.

I mean, its fine if that is a problem with the new board now? But it is not a historical rule that bbcode was always inherently bad. I really don't like being told we've been doing things wrong for the last year when that wasn't the case. I get that from my job every other day.

Is this temporary? Are we working to correct this or is this something we foresee as permanent?

What is the ruling on Italics, Bold, and Underline? No go in IC or still cool?

What about hyperlinks like this?

No its not, that was the old ruling. The problem is Omni's post says he never allowed us to use bbcode to begin with.

The current rule from this is use NO bbcode.
