(Pre-Show) The Park
#9
Lubbock was astonished at the realism of the place. It looked exactly how a park should look, lush greenery complimenting the few man-made structures and vise versa. He pocketed his hands once more and strode towards a bridge over a small pond. He looked over the wooden rail and into the water, the many species of fish and sea creatures peacefully playing together.
"Yeah... that's how we all wanted the world to be like back where I come from. Peaceful, free... you guys are lucky. We didn't get that. And that's why I chose my line of work," he unknowingly began speaking to the animals in the water.
"Now we officially know you really are insane," Syura mentioned, chuckling a little.
"Oh, shut it, will you? Now, to find that girl," he planned, moving away from the railing and striding over near the middle of the park. He looked around, possibly looking like a lost blade of grass with his outfit. In very little time, he located the same girl, her jacket now off and beneath her head. She seemed to be resting, and Lubbock didn't want to interrupt that. He strode over by her, taking a glance at her. She seemed in her mid twenties, but then again most women looked that young. He quickly located a large-ish apple tree and paced over to it before dropping onto his rear and leaning back against it.
"I guess a little rest can't hurt... I mean, I haven't rested since I came here, apart from that small period of time at the beach," he told himself, but forgot that 'himself' contained someone else.
"I hope you realise that when she sees you she's going to think you're some kind of creep, right?"
