[Harry Dresden]

Harry spotted a tent dominating an island, which was more than a little odd. It seemed as though the island was made to fit the tent; there was only a small beach with a dock, and the rest of the island was the shining pavillion tent. A gateway sat to the east, if the familiar rectangle of light was what he thought it was, but it was just barely in sight. Though, that did mean anyone travelling between here and wherever that gate led would spot this massive tent. A sign above the entrance read "Dante's Abyss Registration." He'd seen something about that when he was running through Coruscant, though he hadn't been paying much attention at the time. He walked inside and was a little surprised at what he saw.

A screen was playing constant snippets about the competition, people trash-talking other competitors in front of the camera, lots of fake explosions and yelling about the best survival tournament in the Omniverse. A man and a camera crew were approaching, but that's not what drew his surprise; there was a jagged tear in reality floating in the center of the tent. It looked like one of the gateways to the Nevernever that he'd tear open; one of the spells he'd been unable to replicate in the Omniverse, which was strange, considering his strengthened attunement to Faerie as the Winter Knight. "So... Dante's Abyss. What's that?" He was met with a strange look from the cameraman. "Where've you been, on a desert island?" The man chuckled at his joke, and Harry gave a little laugh too. "Actually, yes. So... can you tell me what this is?" Realizing his faux pas, the man's chuckles ceased and he turned a little red. "It's a battle royale between Primes, with most of their powers suppressed. The prizes are legendary in scale, artefacts never before seen in the Omniverse!"

The Knight was raring to go at just that, but Harry was about to voice his disinterest when a familiar face came on the screen. The strangely-dressed Monster Hunter, Cindy. Suddenly, he found himself agreeing a lot more with his baser instincts. I'll tear her throat out! The wizard took a deep breath, doing multiplication in his head until the boredom and logic forced the rabid Winter Knight down. The chill air grew a little colder as he spoke to the man. "I'll sign up."

Credit to him, he seemed to realize the Prime wizard's anger wasn't directed at him. He set up a camera and told Harry to say something into it, but the second the device was turned on sparks started shooting from it. Harry's emotions weren't very conducive to technology right now. Before they could set up a replacement camera, he traced a circle on the ground with his staff and sealed it with an effort of will. The next camera worked just fine, and would continue to do so as long as the wizard didn't break his circle. So he spoke, when asked why he was entering. "There's someone here that a friend of mine and I dearly want to see again. I haven't gotten a chance to pay back what we owe her."

A couple less loaded questions later, which Harry doubted they would use after the intensity that usually followed from him agreeing with the Knight's Mantle, Harry stepped through the gate to find Samus. Cindy could wait. Besides, fighting was forbidden in the pre-show area, as the cameraman had told him. It was probably for the best.

Appearance –

Personality – Ever read Tolkien? Specifically, the bit about wizards being subtle and quick to anger? Harry's got the last bit down, at least. He usually keeps his temper in check, at least enough to keep from blowing things up and restrict himself to being an incorrigible smartass, but in a situation like this the anger is going to help him more than hinder him. Deeper than that, though, he protects the people that matter to him. He's a little old-fashioned, mainly because of Ebenezar's example; chivalry is not dead with him, though he can ignore that when a woman decides to attack him or his friends.

Possible Reactions – Harry's here because of a grudge. Cindy backstabbing them got under his skin. More than that, the Mantle is eager for more power, and Harry doesn't think that's a bad idea. Helping Samus is also an important reason for him to be here. He'll try not to kill people, especially not with magic, but if he has to fight then holding back is a stupid idea.

Relationships – Samus: He considers her a friend, and his old-fashioned attitude means he'd likely try and protect her.
Ganondorf: He can't really bring himself to condemn the guy for using dark magic; he fought against the Rathalos and Rathian with them, and really, Harry calling someone on dark magic is just a pot calling a kettle black.
Protoman: Another ally, Harry thinks Blues is a formidable fighter, but also still a kid.
Mami Tomoe: At this point, firmly "enemy". He thinks she's a Seelie Fae, or a Faerie of Summer, who's out to get him.
Cindy: Here's how this is gonna go. Harry's going to find Cindy. Then he's going to immobilize her, figure out why in the hell she did what she did, and Samus gets to do whatever she wants with this backstabbing little tart.

‘Combat’ Style – Harry doesn't fight stupid; he tries to plan and he uses the environment to his advantage. That said, if he's caught by surprise, it's likely that his control will slip and the Knight's instincts will take over, and in that state he goes straight for the most direct kill possible, and does so with a surprising amount of strength.

Eligible Powers – Telekinesis

Moves – Defendarius: Since Harry is deprived of his shield bracelet and most of his foci, not to mention the ability to manifest offensive spells, this is going to be one of the biggest uses of magic he does. It's a shield spell that can cover his entire body.

Infriga: Harry doesn't use this much, but it's good for cover or to impede someone.

Pyrofuego (T1 Super): It's a really big fire blast. Harry's going to be at a slight disadvantage using this without his blasting rod, but he'll manage if he really needs to blow something up.

Winter Knight's Mantle (T1 Transformation): Harry doesn't particularly like drawing on Winter, but he has to do it quite a bit when he's going up against long odds.

Extra – So, the TL:DR on the Knight thing. Harry holds the Mantle of the Winter Knight, which is a supernatural force tied to the Unseelie Fae. Harry acts as the mortal representative of Winter. The Mantle has strong instincts that it takes a lot of effort for Harry to suppress; it's basically a blood-starved beast of some kind.
