Advent Thunder

It took a while for Alexander to regain consciousness, his ears were still ringing, his limbs felt numb for a moment before he could feel them again. Arms, legs, hands, fingers, feet and finally toes were still intact somehow which was a relief. Alexander sluggishly clutched his helmet while waiting for the disorientation and dizzying sensation to subside. His mind tried to reboot after what happened before being thrown into this place. All he could remember was fighting, gunfire, explosions, and then nothing but darkness. Did he die? Did the IMC kill him and his Titan? Where’s RC? Where was his Titan? And what of his comrades? What of Freya? All these questions and no answers left him merely frustrated, confused and a maelstrom of other emotions. When the sensation passed, he slowly sat up and surveyed his surroundings, or lack of for that matter since wherever he looked there was nothing but white. Nothing to use to get his bearings, no landmarks, natural or artificial scenery to differentiate the terrain and more importantly, no high ground to get a better vantage point. Nothing except a peculiar-looking fountain and figures, Alexander squinted trying to lock onto these individuals who looked, stranger, as his senses returned one by one.  Even with the aid of his helmet's built-in sensory systems, what he saw through his visor confused him to hesitation,

“What the fu--” Alexander muttered quietly, seeing what he could only describe at best was an individual who looked like a goat, an armoured figure and a Ninja who was armed and about to kill the armoured figure. Alexander saw the ongoing situation and flung himself to his feet, removed the mag-locks of his V-47 Flatline and rested the stock of assault rifle to his shoulder in a lowered positioning. Removing the safety primer on the gun, an audible whine signalled the power cell of the magazine in the weapon was armed.  The Atlean pilot rapidly returned to his soldier mindset. Assessing the situation, respond and if a peaceful resolution were unreachable, he'd intervene if the Ninja pulled the trigger. The Atlean sprinted past individuals, seeming like a hazy blur to them as he advanced towards the chaotic situation and stopped near the goat person with a sliding crouch. Raising his rifle, the Ninja was square in his rifle sights but had his finger away from the trigger for the moment. He had to try at least de-escalate the situation somehow as it seemed they were all just as confused as he was.

"Oi, ninja, you might wanna reconsider pulling that trigger if I were you." Alexander warned the armed individual with an authoritative tone. "You're confused and lost and I understand, frankly this feels far too surreal for my liking yet here we are. We're all in the same boat here, so let's just put the weapons down and talk it out, eh?" The Atlean spoke with a more softer, forgiving tone. Truth was he didn't understand what led himself here either, he didn't want a fight to break out and was prepared to share what little he knew with these people in hopes of gaining a better picture of what exactly they were dealing with.

"I'm Captain Alexander Blakesley, what's your name?"Alexander asked the individual.
