The namekian looked around at the room as he realized he was the center of attention.
Tsunade seemed intrigued, "I was just showing it to him since he is a prime. Am I missing something? "
Arith actually looked up and away and started whistling an 'innocent tune'. Inirtias shook his head let out a sigh as Retane, ignoring the Lady shinobi, eyed him closely, "Did I impress you?"
Inirtias let out a sigh, "No. But yes. I wont wipe our minds, but I will answer a single question here and now, in front of everyone. So ask carefully."
Retane didn't have to think hard, he already had the question he wanted to ask, "If I join this 'Dante's Abyss', is there a chance I could learn about who I was?"
The elf from Lythia took a deep breath thinking of his answer and shook his head with a laugh, "You are going to go anyway. There is a chance, yes, that it could help you in your goals, but I have to warn you, that struggle you feel between hate and the love of life will be challenged. You will struggle most likely, like the Ninja, Elf, do agasint the Orcs. But instead of being one of the other, you will be the embodiment of their struggle, fighting agasint yourself inwardly. You will find yourself in a dark place. You will hate it, but you will accept it. This is a tournament where you have to accept it. There's only one way to survive and win, and no matter what, it means, people will die."
The elf looked around at everyone and Tsunade had to ask, "How do you know all this?"
Inirtias bit his lip, but it was Arith that let out a sigh of annoyance, and removed his helm, "It's because of why 'we' are here. Retane is here because he was the God of Death, to ascend to such a thing, sometimes puts a target on your back I guess. He was banished from his time, and his memory removed. There is only one thing, he can do. Get stronger by any means necessary. As God of Death, Retane chose who went where. He chose who lived or died. He was the Reaper. He was Retane, the Exiled. Enroshia may have become the Arbitrator of Heaven and Hell back on their universe and time, but it was Retane that truly had to decide what happened. He has a good heart, he is just angry. Am I the only one that still thinks about his pain? His anger? Fucking elves are always scared and think about themselves. I say let him do it. Make him do it, even. There's only one way to find out what he is going to do or how things will turn out, and we can't stop him in the end."
The Horsemen listened. He had come to trust Arith over the time he had spent with him and it was obvious that Arith was showing that one side. The namekian had alread knew his choice, but Arith only strengthend his choice. "It's official then, I am going."
"I am going too, then", It was Jack that spoke up.
Retane let out a sigh, looked towards Gulish and Sverit, "You two know the way home. You will have to go there and hold the base down. I'll be there after I am done handling this."
The two mercenaries from Corsucant nodded. Jack looked happy, eager and nervous as Retane appraoched him and put a hand on his shoulder. "I am proud to have you as an ally. I am happy to accept you as a member of the Horsemen. But, there's something I'm going to be sorry for..."
Retane felt the orgosynth offer his strength, it would be something he would need agasint the icer and his fast paced manuvers. A strong swift chop at the neck dropped the guardian, even cracking the unseen layer of ice that was meant to defend him. Frost collapsed in Retane's arms, who gently laid the Guardian down on the floor. "I am sorry, my friend. But I am scared that you are too innocent for this. It seems, however, that I am not, I do not fear for my safety or well being. I am however scared for you. Just do not hate me for this choice I have come to make."
The namekian arose tall and full of pride as he looked around the room, "Make sure he gets to our base. Remind him that I am sorry, but for this, I don't think this would be the kind of thing for him."
Arith dropped his helm and looked Retane dead into his eyes, "How much memory have you come to remember?"
The Emerald Warrior let out a sigh, "I know Tapion died. I watched him die twice. I know how I felt. I am a Namekian, as well as a Horsemen. I know I have the dark seed of anger and hatred inside me. But I would not willing hurt an ally. I don't want to see Jack die. I know I don't worry about you or the elf, but I feel that if I had to care, I would."
Arith took a long breath and offered a saddly forced grin, "I got your back gremlin."
Retane shook his head looked to the opening behind the Kage and let himself hover in the air as he slowly moved towards the exit. He paused for a few moments and looked back at everyone. He cared not for the facial expressions of the ninja, if they hd any. The Emerald Warrior just gave a nod, looked back at Jack and gave a a deep sigh. The namekian shot out the window.
The Mokugakure looked around observing the situation. She looked to the Guardian, "Once the new member of the Horsemen wakes up, have them all escorted to where they need to go."
----------------
Retane's mind was numb. He dropped down once he reached the camp, annoyed that there was first in line. He had no time, nor the pateince for waiting. The Emerald Warrior, timing it well landed in the first position as another moved his way through the gate . A human behind him argued and grumbled, but was more quiet then he seemed he wanted to be. The namekian actually was the reason for it as he held a hand out with an orb of energy focusing on the face of the man. Retane was eager to get this done and over with. No one even questioned him or tried to interject.
"Name?", the registrator asked, not missing a beat as she motioned at the cmera rolling behind her. The namekian was never fond of cameras. He hated them.
"Retane. I have been involved in this before. Look me up." The Horsemen wasn't up for talking or answering questions. He pushed himself through the rip in space that represented the gate and strode through.
The registrar simply laughed with a shrug, "I wish they were all that easy."

*The Namek wanted to avert his eyes. He really didn't want to do it. But even The Skull had said that 'at least one of them had to die'. Who wanted to live life alone with all those bad memories? Who wanted to be apart from their family? The Emerald Warrior let out a low growl and looked down at the bullet in his hand. It went to the Single Shot. "Yes."
*Grenade.... "Tapion... We made it my freind. We are finally here. Now you can rest and no one can disturb you. They won't hurt you anymore. I promise."
*"Tapion... No one will hurt you anymore..." The Namekian spoke almost gently as he watched the explosion erupt, causing a flash of napalm to flare up before the unstable hill collapsed on top of it, burying the soon to be ashes of those that had lost their lives on this battlefield.

I refuse to lose this battle,
Let whatever come my way.
I am stronger then my rival,
No, I will not fall today...
Let whatever come my way.
I am stronger then my rival,
No, I will not fall today...
