Bradley was starting to get tired, his opponent had proven himself to be an agile one. But agile or not, Bradley wasn't going to lose this match. He charged his opponent, Dayton, and swung his gigantic sword. Dayton dodged and retaliated with a bump from his shield, sending Bradley stumbling backwards.
"That was much easier than last time. Getting tired Bradley?" Dayton asked. Bradley scoffed in response, "You wish mate. I'm only getting started!" he yelled back. The both of them ran forward with their blades ready to strike. As they got in range, they swung with all their might. Their swords made contact but, not with each other, instead making contact with a green shield. The two stood back in surprise as the shield dissipated, revealing Gin as the man behind the solid green curtain. "Sorry to interrupt guys, but we have a small problem over here in the rest of the Coliseum that I think you should be concerned with." said Gin. "Don't interrupt our battle, boy. At least not until I've won." Bradley told Gin. "Win? From where I was standing you were losing horribly." Gin said with a straight face. Dayton couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at Gin's words. "I don't care how it looked to ya, now get outta the way before I slice through ya to get to the guy behind you!" Bradley yelled as he took a step forward. Gin raised his hands up as if to say 'hold it' before speaking, "Would you hear what I have to say for a second?! If you two keep going while that genetically altered abomination over there takes out the rest of us, the winner of your fight will have to kill it on their own!" he exclaimed.
"So? I can handle a big cat by myself no problem. If anything, I should just let it take out the competition for me!" Bradley said. Dayton crossed his arms, "For once I agree with you, one feline isn't a problem for either of us." Dayton said. Gin sighed, "Wonderful! So how do you plan to HIT THE THING." he points to Baltair getting thrown about left and right by an invisible force. Before either Bradley or Dayton could respond, Gin continued, "Now unless you plan to just swing your sword at the air for a hour, I'd say it's a fair idea to work together so we don't all die to an evil puma." he finished. Bradley and Dayton looked at each other, then to the Displacer Beast, and back to Gin. "Okay we'll help." they said together.
The three of them run back to Baltair, who was just getting up from another attack by the beast. He looks back at the new arrivals and gives them a faint grin before turning back to the beast. "So what's the plan boys?" he asked.
Baltair charged the illusion head on, running through it before being thrown off his feet from an invisible force coming from his left side. "LEFT SIDE!" he shouted. Gin sprung into action, jumping high into the air and landing with a punch going straight down, creating a cloud of dust. With the cloud now covering the area, everything within it faded from sight. Bradley and Dayton moved in with their eyes closed, listening for the growls of the beast they were now up against. Once they found it, they enacted their parts of the plan, with Dayton ramming the beast with his shield, stunning it and knocking it over. Bradley then follows suit with a swing from his sword, chopping off the beast tentacles. The beast howled in pain, and tackled Bradley before fleeing out of the cloud.
Gin and Baltair cornered the beast as it exited the cloud, ready to put an end to this little distraction. Realizing the jig was up, the beast let out a howl before starting to twitch. Its form began to shift, the mid-section legs retracted into its body, the front paws turning into hands, fur falling off, its face turned into that of a persons, its form turning more and more human. Gin could only mouth the words 'what the fuck' at this sight. "Bloody hell, that ain't no Displacer Beast, IT'S A DAMN MIMIC!" Baltair exclaimed.
Soon the beast finished transforming, and where once stood a displacer beast stood a blonde human male. It gave an eerie smile and began to speak, "You thought you were fighting a Displacer Beast. BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY I, A SPIRIT MIMIC THAT HAS NOW TAKEN THE FORM OF ONE KNOWN AS DIO!" it then let out a chilling laugh.
Meanwhile, the dust cloud began to clear, with Bradley and Dayton finally getting a clear view of what's going on. Bradley was the first to speak, "Ah shit, what the hell did we miss."
