And then there were two.
Sasuke found it funny that, out of all the Primes, he and his fellow Uchiha were now, the only ones left. In his home and time he was the only Uchiha left, but in this place, all had left him except the Uchiha; funny he thought as he laughed at his own misfortune and despair. He had thought the Mami character would join them as he believed her to be as disciplined in achieving her goals as he was in his; a foolish thought. How could she? How could anyone? No one could relate. No one knew what he was going through. NO ONE needed to kill someone as bad as he needed to.
Sasuke placed his hands in his pockets, pondering his predicament as he marched alongside the Storm troopers in stride. He was beginning to feel like he might not ever return home. He didn’t mind, there wasn’t much left for him there. Suddenly he began to think of Naruto. Weird… Not weird… Naruto had become his rival and his closest friend. He didn’t know it then, but he missed the damned fool. He wouldn’t think on it now though, he had business he had to finish. He had to find and kill Itachi, if it was the last thing he did.
The company came to a halt as Sasuke laid his eyes on sights he hadn’t ever even dreamed of. Directly in front of him stood the giant portal to coruscant and through its transparent visage, a futuristic wonderland resided within. A sprawling city of a magnificent architectural design stretching far and wide, encompassed as much of the vast white ocean as Omni would allow. Sasuke didn’t quite know what he was looking at, but he knew no one back home had ever seen anything like it. He repositioned himself, scanning the party to see if anyone had caught him gawking and instead found Obito, carefree, gawking to his heart’s content at the majestic city before them. Sasuke chuckled. He liked this Obito, he reminded him of Naruto, they even had the same cheesy grin. He had noticed it when Sasuke acknowledged Obito’s sensei, the Fourth Hokage. Shifting his eyes from Obito back to the portal he wondered if the city would remain as wondrous once they actually crossed over and entered.
Before the portal existed a sort of check in station manned by more of the white clad-armored soldiers. Only these soldiers seemed more misshapen in their uniforms and lacked the proper form Arnold’s own platoon carried about them. Sasuke wasn’t the only one who found them out of place as Commander Arnold Hammond questioned the outpost soldiers, “You there. What is all this? Is all this just for Dante’s Abyss?”
Behind a table two Storm Troopers stood looking over some documents over. One of them, in response to the question, drew their attention to Commander Hammond, “Dante’s Abyss? How’d you know?”
The other station trooper backhanded his partner across the arm/shoulder area and then spoke up himself, “Dante’s Abyss? Oh no… They won’t be setting up for that for at least a couple of weeks.”
Arnold arched an eyebrow in response before speaking up once more, “Then what’s all of this?” He indicated to the outpost with a point of his finger.
“Well, sir” the trooper started, “there seems to be a new virus sweeping across all the other verses, I think they are calling it the blight?...” he stopped to look at his partner, who had a smug grin on his face, before continuing, “Yea, that’s it. The Blight. Anyway, new imperial policy, anyone entering Coruscant has to get vaccinated…”
“Oh, awesome!” recruit Anderson exclaimed as he stepped forward, “I can’t afford to be getting sick. My wife and I… well... We have one on the way!” he beamed like the proud father should. Arnold grinned in response, being a family man himself.

Quote:Okay, Obito, I dunno if you are still with us, but if you are, decide whether or not Obito takes the vaccine from the new soldiers or tried to deny it in your next post! =O
