I was just going with the characters too, Magus. What I love about this setup is that I can throw people out pretty game-changing stuff like this, and it simply entails doing what each side would logically do. I've been thinking about this setting for years, so the eventualities are all there, in my head.

For future ref, if you guys want me to play the NPCs, let me know via PM. That's for any topic. I pretty much always read posts as soon as they come up, but I don't always assume someone wants me to respond. I'll add this whole "requesting admin response" deal to the rules thing shortly.
