Hivemind Face Value?
#1
Alright, so my question is simple: how strict are Powers? Me and a friend were discussing this and I have the thought that Powers are more like stepping stones while he states they're more "Face Value."

For example, Hivemind's example of use is with Disassemble, being it is a requirement for the latter. My thought is that it's not JUST for controlling one's own body, but with a proper move the user can use Hivemind outside of his/her own body. A hypothetical situation being the addition of Telepathy for a "Psychic Possession" that can brainwash living beings (probably only secondaries). The flipped version could be Telekinesis to create sentient objects. The specs of the moves aren't in question beyond the big picture. Will Hivemind allow the user to "imprint" on these targets to create something similar to minions?

Another thought for Hivemind is that the user "douplicates" his or her mind to allow greater mutlitasking while maintaining a high focus on multiple mental tasks?

It's probably easy to guess which power was the easiest to question. The description for Hivemind makes it seem like it's ONLY there to act as a buffer for Disassemble.
