Character history:

Obito was a lonely kid who didn't know who his parents were, only that he was an Uchiha. He grew up in an orphanage, hoping his life would become better by someday becoming a ninja of Konohagakure and becoming the Hokage, the village leader of Konoha. So, when he was of age to go, he went to the academy, where he learned how to be a shinobi, and where he also desperately sought friendship with other students, despite that fact that he was goofy and clumsy and often picked on and ignored (not to mention he got into trouble almost every day for being tardy due to his need to be the village "boy-scout", helping the elderly and performing good deeds whenever he could). At the academy is where he met his future friend, crush, and teammate, Rin Nohara, the only person who really treated him nicely in school. It's also where he met his other teammate and rival, Kakashi Hatake, whom he would grow to both hate and envy in the coming years, because no matter how hard Obito tried to do something better than Kakashi, Kakashi was always the one who performed better than he did. Rin also seemed to really like Kakashi, and this is where all the rivalry would begin between the two boys.



Graduating from the academy, the three new Genin got the coolest sensei ever, Minato Namikaze. He taught Obito, Kakashi, and Rin really good values of being a shinobi and a good person. Obito looked up to him a lot, but as always, it seemed Kakashi got more of the spotlight than him, and Obito always made bad judgements, and was always the first to goof up on missions and other tasks. Still, Obito couldn't give up! He had to be better than Kakashi, and he had to get Rin to love him, and one day he would be the Hokage! He swore it, he would! Then the Chuunin Exams came, and Obito was sure he would become a Chuunin, until...he got his ass handed to him by Might Guy. Kakashi and Rin went on to be Chuunin, leaving Obito behind, which only made Obito work twice as hard until he too would become a Chuunin!

Not too much later...disaster struck the Ninja World, with Ninja World War Three, and Obito was angry beyond words when Kakashi was made a Jounin. Obito therefore, didn't bring Kakashi a gift for his promotion, though Minato-Sensei and Rin did. He felt a little bad about it, but his anger and resentment for Kakashi overpowered his embarasment. Furthermore, Minato was called to the front-lines of the attack on Iwa and made Kakashi in charge of the mission to secure the Kannabi Bridge. It was safe to say that Obito was upset, but at least for the beginning of the mission, things were going well...that is, until they were tracked and cornered by several Iwa shinobi. The three fought with all that they could, but during the scuffle, Rin was caught and held with a kunai at the throat. These men were taking Rin as a hostage, and if they wanted her back, they'd have to come and get her. Obito refused to let them take her! He wanted to go after them immediately, but Kakashi expressed his concerns about this, saying it was more important to complete the mission without her, and that following those guys would probably be a trap.

This was the last straw! Obito was furious! He told Kakashi he was nothing but trash if he'd abandon his friend without even trying to save her. Thus, Obito left Kakashi and ran off to save Rin on his own. He would arrive at the cave, only to be found out by an Iwa-nin using a technique to hide their body in the rock with camoflauge. Obito would have been in serous trouble right then if it hadn't been for Kakashi coming to his rescue, coming to help out with getting back Rin after all. From his need to succeed in Rin's rescue and help Kakashi beat all these jerks, Obito unlocked his Sharingan, which would allow him to see through the hidden rock technique and kill Taiseki (one of the Iwa-nin). Shortly after this, Obito and Kakashi were able to get to Rin and release her from her restraints. However, the cave was collapsing around them! Everyone rushed for the exit, but Kakashi was about to get smashed by a boulder! Obito pushed him out of the way, to save his rival, now friend, and Obito became trapped under the huge stone, his body's right side completely smashed, and Obito laying there dying, said for Rin to remove his left eye and give it to Kakashi. He deserved it after all. Kakashi was a Jounin, and all Obito was was a failure.

As Obito lay there, sure he was dead, for his soul wandered now away from his body, he could hear a voice speaking out to him. Was it the voice of an old man? He thought so at first...but no, it wasn't. The boy was told to wake up, and he would do so sitting up. his vision blurry, but coming into focus after a while. He rubbed his eyes, squinted, and he saw a strange light, emanating off of a silhouette of a man who was grinning. The room was dark, pitch black other than this.

The silhouette said, “My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Omni handed Obito a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesced. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.

“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.” [/b]

Physical Description: Obito stands about five feet and two inches (he's relatively short for being fourteen years old). He's not too skinny, not too bulky either, his build being more speed oriented with lean muscular features. He has short black hair in a spiky haircut, a single obsidian colored eye that turn to red with a ring of tomoe around the middle pupil (when he activates the Sharingan), and he wears his shinobi headband sideways on his head to cover the missing eye on the left side of his face. He has a fair skin tone. For clothing, the boy is usually seen wearing a dark blue jacket with orange trim and an orange collar, accompanied by a white t-shirt, long blue pants, or khaki shorts. Other times though, he may change up his outfit and wear other types of clothing, usually in black, blue,white, or orange. Regardless of what he wears, he always has a pair of goggles to wear, and he always has the Uchiha Clan emblem of the red and white fan on the back of his clothing. With these things, the boy wears standardized ninja footwear- leather sandals with openings for the toes, though closed at the back with rubber soles (in blue or black), a headband with a metal forehead protector, and steel-plated leather gloves with finger holes.

Kunai and Shuriken (requires Ranged Proficiency)- These are the basic projectile weapons used the world over by all Shinobi. Obito carries on him twenty-five of each type of these steel weapons (kunai and shuriken). He can use them in a variety of attacks, using them to cause diversions, strike moving targets, in conjunction with Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, etc. They have a range of 0-30 meters when thrown. (This version is ranged only and cannot be used in melee combat).
