A general idea of how the Empire treats criminals

I'm not quite sure exactly how law works within a verse such as the Empire. Would they set him some other kind of momentous task? Would they just outright banish him? (Though I honestly doubt this, since the crime Jon committed wasn't all that serious, and the Empire don't seem like ones who'd skip the opportunity of puppeteering a lost and confused Prime).

This. Primes are kind of an exception when it comes to the law, especially when it comes to the Empire, because they're willing to do anything to get them on their side. As long as they believe they can be controlled or manipulated to some degree, and aren't just going to completely screw them over, they will do whatever it takes to keep them working for them. That would include potentially manipulating them into committing MORE crimes that they then have to 'repay'. I guess it would depend on the individual who is 'directing' that particular Prime 'case'. I mean, feel free to make up Imperial officers and such, Dredd can't preside over everything (and he's actually far less corrupt than many in the force, I would suspect, and probably hated by many of his subordinates). So basically be as creative as you like.

Yeah. I was planning to use Dredd and Kizaru in a trial-esque scene, though Dredd definantely wouldn't be the one overseeing Jon when the Empire starts having him do stuff, lol. The confirmation that the Empire isn't out to banish every wrong-doing Prime under the sun helps, though.

If this were a serious crime, chances are that the Empire would have just dealt with Jon instead of taking the risk of letting a loose cannon roam freely around Coruscant. But as it stands, I could see them using him to their advantage.

As plain and unimaginative as this is, I think the Empire would just have Jon do the stuff they have the other Primes do, i.e. faction quests. Yes, I know you said that there would be no OM reward involved, but the OM reward you get from a faction quest arguably isn't an actual IC payment to begin with. Because Primes develop omnilium naturally, the OM reward you gain from a quest arguably represents the above average effort you had to exert in order to complete the task.

In an IC context, the actual reward you get for completing a faction quest is increased influence/notoriety. You could use that as justification as to why the Empire essentially pardons Jon's crime; they either remove the crime from his record for being recognised as a faithful Empire subject or they end up claiming that he did "community service" to make up for his crime and thus consider the matter settled.

Plus, the Empire has a good reason to have as many Primes as possible working on the tasks involved with those faction quests. IC-wise, the Empire has experienced an increasing number of Prime-related incidents. This would naturally make anything related to Primes, whether hunting them down or researching them, a top priority for them.

That said, if you don't want to do the faction quests, here's a rather off-the-wall idea. While Coruscant and Camelot aren't at war, they are in a somewhat "cold war"-like state and certainly wouldn't be above taking proverbial jabs at one another. Considering this, you could have the Empire essentially use Jon in propaganda videos and movies. He could play the role of a Camelot villain or the "backwards savage" that the Empire heroes must "enlighten" and convert to their ways....and what better man to have in that role than an actual medieval man? This would give you some material you could use for posting in the Dataverse (since this isn't Jon posting on the Dataverse, I think you could get away with not having a Dataverse device yourself), essentially depicting the propaganda videos in question. Plus, it would be a good source of humour; you could depict Jon as being absolutely terrible at acting...or, alternatively, have him act better than the actual actors. :lol:

Some good ideas. These questions are probably gonna sound noobish, but where exactly can I find the thread for a faction quest, or a directory for them, if you would. Also, is it fine to just jump into a faction quest, or would I need to wait for another to be set up, right from the beginning?

Ohh, and that last idea... I'll be definantely toying with that somehow, me thinks
