The large half-demon fumbled his beer taking a long sip savoring the flavor, it was cheap what would you expect he somehow got it in a Starbucks of all the places. To be honest the robot was acting a little hypocritical, son of Ultron an evil AI hell bent on destruction. He had no place to judge Hellboy and not to mention he just met the fella.
"Listen pal I wasn't raised by other demons, I was raised by a human. My adopted father was a professor and head leader of an organization called the B.P.R.D, Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. We were kind of the guys that stop things that go bump in the night."
HB took another sip of his beer even if it was cheap it was something, he pulled out one cigar before he could light it a waitress shout from the other side of the shop.
"Sir! this is a no smoking area!"
Hellboy quickly put it back in his coat pocket.
"Jeez, alright I hear ya."
Vision gave another quiz like look, this robot sure seems to have a lot of questions.
"Query."
Red gave a long sigh putting his index finger and thumb on his nose.
"Yes."
"You said that you for an organization designed to deal with paranormal threats, that seems to be close to what my organization does, we fight terrorists and the evil the bends to destroy the good. In this case, you seem to want to do good no matter your heritage, you are a living oxymoron. Am I correct? "
Hellboy finished the last sips of his beer and leaned forward in his seat.
"I want to do good, I don't hate humans and I don't want to harm them either, Hell I'm not fully a demon in the first place. I didn't ask for this and I didn't ask for this thing where my right hand should be." He stopped before explaining what his right hand's purpose was. It was a hard truth to deal with he was the key to the end of the world a reality that slaps him in the face each day he goes through.
"Look you don't have to trust me, but that won't stop me from doing what's right, what you do and what I do is something the world needs what we can do. That makes us good guys. That's enough for me. So with that, I'm in on whatever it is yall are doing, to make the world a better place."
Vission stayed silent all that Hellboy said was enough. Hellboy was no evil demon bent on the enslavement of humans and destruction of the world.
The Starbucks doors slammed open and Frisk skipped in.
"There you guys are, are we behaving and getting along."
Both men just turned and gave her a hard stare.
"Anyways I know where Cap and Marcus are, there on a small island owned by Rando Le Terz, I have exact coordinates this paper here."
She flashed the paper around them. Both of the men got out of their seats. Hellboy stretched as he got up.
"Well done Frisk we should departure right now then," Vision said as they exited the building.
Hellboy gave a small chuckle and lit another one of his cigars "Hey, hey time to have some fun." He puffed a large smoke cloud and patted Vision hard on his with his oversized right hand.
