Atelos glared at Dio, the self-serving, arrogant man. The manner in which he spoke to Atelos was abhorred and he couldn't help but grind his teeth just looking at the man. Just the way he walked had a mean of swagger and confidence and Atelos couldn't help but carry over his emotions from the man's earlier speech. His cockiness just triggered something in his mind and it couldn't help remind him about a certain God of Death.
The man was about to speak and he could already feel his overbearing nature and his condescending behavior about to emerge from his lips. Atelos furrowed his brow and abruptly cut his speech of before it ever began.
"Is this how you treat your allies? Your patronizing behavior is unacceptable. I find it abhorring to work with a man who belittles his comrades, however if this is True about the Terrasque and it's eminent rampage…I find it to be my duty to assist anyone in taking down this ferocious beast. At least for the time being. Dio turned to look at the Spartan and gave him a cursory look and sized the man up before speaking.
"You are nothing special in this world, I hardly found that these two had the patience to even talk with you. If you wish to assist me in my quest to save the Moors then do so, however do not waste my time with your useless attempts of selfishness." Dio couldn't stand to look at him anymore so he turned to the other two and began in conversation about whatever the two were talking about before. Something about strategies and other things that were not important to the Spartan, or at least while he was in a state of shock.
Atelos felt a burning passion inside his heart light up and his eyes couldn't help but peer at the man who dare degraded his honor with his slick words. A heavy weight seemed to fill up his heart and his voice was stuck in his throat but an inferno was raging on in his mind.
-------
Hades was sitting on his golden throne in his "host's" mind. He was so BORED, he wanted time to play and have fun. This Dio character would be fun to play with, a faint smirk came up as he toyed with the thought. Maybe as an ally, to help gain full control over this vessel and to gain more power. Or maybe as an enemy, to feel the man's head crushing underneath his boot. Both options sounded good.
Red flames spouted from the sides of his throne and the God smiled and took his scepter and used it to get up. He looked around the room, cabinets and cabinets of memories lay before him, the fights, the wars, the limited experiences the Spartan had lived with for all of his short existence was right in front of Hades. The emotional nature of the Spartan would be his downfall. Hades kinked his neck and smiled playfully, peering off into the sights that his minion would have to share soon.
"Look at the Time, Atelos is angry…again. Look's like it's time to play." His hyena laugh echoing as he turned into a white wisp and flew off into the distance.
------
Atelos' eyes seemed to cloud up a bit as he peered to the side, his breath staggered and heavy. The man that had ditched them earlier had just arrived and Dio couldn't be happier. Dio and the others jabbered some nonsense, but it appeared they were getting ready. Dio glanced over to Atelos , "Are you joining?"
"It would be my pleasure." A smirk came upon his lips as he gather his stuff before mounting a horse.
