Neal's nap was kept short, though in that span there was ample time to dream. For some reason, his mind drifted to a realm similar to Narnia, where all sorts of creatures beyond the normal scope resides. Instead of talking lions and goat-legged pipers, he dreams of gorillas throwing barrels at electric mice and a masked man sprouting a snake-like spear from his hand and yanking a winged turtle out of the sky.
He stood in the middle of it all before a swarm of giant yellow ostrich-like creatures started to scratch at him. Neal tried to shoo them away, but they were insistent. Then the veil between the dreamscape and reality broke and he found himself being scratched by the twig coverage he had made. At first he was about to shout at the intruder to go away, but thankfully sanity entered him before he utters a sound. Instead, he quickly formulates a plan.
In his head, Neal counted to three. On the fourth count, he threw off the twig-barrier and jolted upright as fast as he could manage, even using a Focused Push on the ground to stand himself upright. Before he could catch sight of who had awoken his sleep, he quickly backsteps, hands rising into a boxing stance. "Alright, who're you and what do you want?" He demanded firmly.
Neal may not have looked the most intimidating normally, but with dirt over his face and his hair dishieveled, framing his wiry face, he could pass for grizzly in the dimming light. His long coat may just bolster the "don't mess with this guy" vibe he hoped he was giving off at that moment. But, in truth, he wreaked of noob. His sloppy camp was the first testament to that.
